Your place card list can be entered into one of the following software
programs:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Word
The place cards can have up to three lines. Two lines for the guests' names
and one line for the table. Remember that each of the three
lines on the place card can have up to 39 characters (including spaces).
For your tables, you can use numbers or names.
When using Microsoft Word, we suggest you use one
line or row to fill in the name(s) and table numbers for each place card.
For example, the first two place cards on your list might look like this:
Mr. John Doe//Miss Jane Smith//Table 3
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jackson//Table 4
Note: If you want to include a food choice, we will print it in the lower
right-hand corner. For example, if B is for Beef and C is for Chicken:
Mr. John Doe//Table 3//B
Mrs. Jane Jackson//Table 4//C
Microsoft Excel
Create two columns in the spreadsheet for the names on the place cards.
Column 1 would be line 1 on the place card and column 2 would be the line
2. If you only need one line for the names on a particular place card,
leave column 2 blank.
If you plan on including table names or numbers, create a third column for the
table numbers. You can also create a column for a food choice(s).
For example:
|
Name(s) Column 1
|
Name(s) Column 2
|
Table Name or Number (optional)

Food Choice(s) (optional)
