Order Process

What Happens When I Order My Place Cards?

The ordering process with PlaceCards.com has been designed to make your experience as easy and convenient as possible.  After years of being a part of thousands of weddings and events we understand how hectic planning your event can feel.

Our Process:
1. Our ordering process – From any page on our website you can select "Designs" from the menu at the top. You will be shown all all our place card designs. As you look through all the place card designs you can click on the design (or no design) you would like to use. You will be able to pick a font and the paper color, design color and font color.  You can also enter your quantity and unit pricing will be displayed.

2. Sending us your guest list - Next you will see a place where your can upload a file with your guests' names.  

2. Complete your Purchase –  You can then enter your billing and shipping address and credit card information. and submit the order. 

3. Proofing / Review – Once you have submitted your order, we will email you a proof of all of your place cards in a PDF file.  You should receive the proof the day after you submit your order. After you have reviewed it you can reply back to the email we sent you and let us know if you want to make changes or OK the proof as it is. If any details need to be changed, we can make those changes. You can have us send you a second proof and let us proceed to printing. We will update your proof two times without any additional changes. Additional proof after that would cost $10. 

4. Printing and Shipping – Now that you have OK'ed the proof, we will begin printing your place cards.  The printing and shipping should take place within 1 to 2 days after the proof is OK'ed. Our regular shipping is via Priority Mail and that takes only 2 to 3 days to arrive anywhere in the USA. If you need your order sooner we have either a 24 hour or 48 hour rush service.   The shipping can also be expidited by  using an overnight shipping service.
